Long and Lean!

We took Caleb to his 4 month appointment today. He continues to grow! The stats:

• Weight: 13 lbs, 12.5 oz (10 - 25th Percentile)
• Head: 15 5/8 in (5 - 10th Percentile)
• Length: 25 in (50th Percentile)

Though his head and weight continue to lag, the doc is not concerned, given his "true" age. He also got a few more vaccinations - fun times... All is well!

Merry Christmas (again)

Papa Tigger, Tigger and I headed to Texas to celebrate Christmas (again) with the family. We got to see G-Ma C, Uncle Michael, Aunt Lorelei, cousin Cassidy and Great-Uncle Buddy.

The trip started out on the morning of Christmas Eve with Tigger's first plane ride! Here he is ready to go:


After take off, he settled in for his nap:

Then had some play time before we landed. Who knew those tray tables could come in handy with a baby?


The next day, it was Christmas festivities!! First, we opened presents.








Tigger even helped open some of his presents:

Then after presents, we took some family pics. Here's Aunt Lorelei, Uncle Michael and cousin Cassidy:

Everybody got lots of Tigger time. G-Ma C spent lots of time holding Tigger....

That was a full day! The next day, Tigger came with Mama Tigger to get a jump on the after-Christmas sales. Here he is eagerly awaiting the opening of the Container Store:

Tigger also got to enjoy a few "Texas moments" while we were there. Here he walks Town Lake Trail with Mama and Papa Tigger:

and visits Rudy's BBQ for the first time:

That was a full trip! Here we are, ready to head home, people-watching in the airport. Bye bye Texas!

Our Christmas

In between spending time with both our families, Papa Tigger and I celebrated our own first Christmas with Tigger.

Merry Christmas (a little early)

Merry Christmas!! OK, I know it's only December 22nd, but we just spent the weekend at G-Ma and G-Pa T's to celebrate Christmas. Caleb sure did enjoy his first Christmas!

We celebrated Christmas on Saturday and Caleb looked cute in his 'Baby's First Christmas' PJs:

We all had fun opening presents:


One of my favorite presents was a new book, Porn for New Moms. It was hysterical!! It's filled with pictures of dads with babies and the guys are saying something titillating. A few of my favorites:

• I'll be right there hon. I'm just finishing the last of the baby shower thank-you cards.
• No, you relax for a while. I've figured out how to fold everything one-handed (picture dad holding baby while folding laundry)
• Ah, the sports pages can wait. I'd rather get a jump start on these preschool applications.

Tigger also got a present from G-Ma T - a new Tummy Time mat:

After a good nap, Tigger played in his bouncy and played pattycake with G-Pa T.
