Since Tigger is now 8 months old, Papa Tigger and I have started thinking about moving Tigger beyond pureed food. We've begun experimenting with soft, bite-sized foods. We're taking it slow, but Tigger is showing interest. He's grabbing the spoon now and just recently mastered chewing. Here he is yesterday enjoying a piece of naan bread:
Today he actually tried to pick up food and put it in his mouth. I tried to capture that on video, but I mostly just got him grabbing the food and losing it before he got it to his mouth. I'll apologize in advance for the unsteady videography; I was trying to film and help him master his grabbing-food-and-putting-in-mouth skills.
