First Word

It's like Trip is on a trajectory recently to grow up fast! She has started babbling and we've discerned two words - Mama and Dada. She's all about Dada in this video though we believe she started with Mama. We'll call it a tie for her first word:)

Standing

Last night during the bedtime routine, Trip was trying to stand up off Meema's lap. So we pulled over a toy and she pulled herself up! She showed off her standing and posed for some pictures. So big!!

I love my big brother

Tigger is turning into such a great big brother. He is so sweet with Trip - just the other night he decided to get her a book and share it with her:


And last weekend (when they were supposed to be napping) I heard noises from the room they share. They were playing together through the crib slats. It was so cute! I wish I'd gotten more before Tigger noticed me.

On the move

Trip is moving now - she can really get around with her army-belly crawl. Here she is making progress in the hall....


...then proceeding into the bathroom. Yes, that's Tilly saying that Trip has to stay in the bathroom so she won't be lonely:)

8 Months

Oh my goodness Trip is 8 months old!!!! She's growing up so fast - in fact she's just started scooting. I'll post a video as soon as I can capture it. It's so funny - like an army/belly move using just her arms.
