Reading to little sister

The other day Tigger, Trip and I came home from being out and about. Trip was asleep in her car seat so I left her there while I did a few things around the house. She must have woken up and Tigger noticed because all of the sudden, he pulled a chair in front of her and started reading her one of his books. What a sweetheart!!

Life around the house

With Trip nearly two months old we're settling into a schedule around the house. Each evening she spends quality time with Papa TT. I do the final feeding around 8 pm then she hangs out with Papa TT in the basement while he watches TV (and I go to bed). Around 10 pm Papa TT gives her a couple ounces of formula to get her really full and then I do the overnight feeding around 4:30/5:00 am.

....though I'm sure at times Trip wonders what she got herself into

Today we were at the park and decided to swing by Papa TT's office and give him a ride home (it was really hot). We had a few minutes to kill so decided to boogie down!

(Belated) 4th of July

We began our nation's birthday by braving the tourists downtown to see the 4th of July parade. It was pretty hot so we didn't stay too long. Tigger and Tilly loved it - lots of bands (Tigger kept asking about each instrument) and other interesting things to see (people on roller blades!).

Later that day we had some friends over for a cookout and fireworks. The kids are certainly showing their different personalities. Tigger can be a bit timid while Tilly is fearless. Tigger quickly became done with the fireworks ('they scare me') while Tilly kept asking for more. Very funny!

One Month and Growing Like a Weed

Today was Trip's one month check up and she's doing great. She has a bit of baby acne (which is normal) but other than that is doing great. Her stats are:

• Weight: 8 lb 14 oz (50th percentile)
• Height: 22 1/8 inches (75th - 90th percentile)
• Head circumference: 14 1/2 inches (50th percentile)
