Standing like a pro

Tilly is getting so big - about a month ago she decided to stand up on her own. I was so surprised!!



Now she's a pro. Check her out showing off the other day:

Tilly's First Birthday Party

Last weekend we had Tilly's first birthday party at the park and it was great fun. We invited some of Tigger's classmates from day care and celebrated at Rock Creek Park. The weather was perfect!

The day before the party, I came home with balloons. Tigger loved them - he pulled them around the house all morning.


Tilly came upstairs to get in on the fun.

Later that morning we headed to the park for some birthday party fun.



We had a butterfly theme, hence the butterfly headbands and butterfly cupcakes.




Apparently under the table was the place to be.





Then it was time for the birthday girl's cupcake.





Yum!!

Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Tilly is One!

I can't believe it, Tilly is one! It sounds so cliche but it does seem like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital.

Yesterday was Tilly's one year checkup and though she has slowed a bit in her weight gain (the doctor's not concerned), all is well!

• Height - 28 7/8 inches (25-50%)
  
• Weight - 17 lb, 4 oz (3-5%)
• Head circumference - 17 7/8 inches (50%)
  

So, Papa TT and I weren't happy with the weight percentile. Basically 95-97% of girls her age weigh more than she does. But the doctor isn't worried - at this age babies are very mobile and typically drop off the weight curve. And Tilly is teething so doesn't always eat a lot. But she's drinking lots of milk and she eats well when her teeth aren't bothering her. She should be just fine!

Easter

Last weekend for Easter we went to G-Ma and G-Pa T's house. The kids had so much fun! On Saturday we decorated Easter eggs. Tigger loved it!





Tilly looks on as Aunt Meghan does her egg.


Later that afternoon Tilly hung out with Uncle Todd. She has some new teeth coming in so she loved chewing on a plastic spoon.


We finished the day with a lovely Easter dinner. Great job to the cooks - G-Ma T and Aunt Meghan.


On Sunday morning Tigger and Tilly had to find the Easter baskets the Easter bunny left them. Where is it...

Later that afternoon, it was time for the Easter egg hunt. Tigger is ready to go!
