Christmas in Virginia

We just returned home from a Christmas celebration with the family in Virginia. The kids had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa T, Aunt Meghan and Uncle Todd.

There were definitely presents...

(I have no idea what Tilly is doing in that picture!)

...fishing with Grandpa T....

....and relaxing with family. Good times!

Christmas Cookies

This year we started a new tradition - making gingerbread Christmas cookies. Tigger and Tilly loved it - they got dirty with flour and made some great cookies. Yummy!

Christmas in Texas

We started this year's holiday season by celebrating Christmas with the family in Texas. Just like we do every year on Christmas Eve, we read The Night Before Christmas. Tigger enjoyed it, Tilly lost interest after a few pages (it's a little long) and Trip was already asleep.

The next morning the present unwrapping began!

Trip even helped unwrap presents.

And found the wrapping paper yummy.

We then had a holiday feast with Uncle Michael, Aunt Lorelei and the cousins.

Meema with the grandkids:

Tilly borrowed Aunt Lorelei's reindeer antlers...

...while Trip cuddled with Uncle Michael.

Happy Holidays everyone!!

Trip is Six Months Old!

I can't believe it either but Trip is now six months old. Her checkup went well. She's growing great but unfortunately has an ear infection in both ears and a pesky rash spot on her head that I thought was just normal cradle cap. She's currently being medicated and is doing much better!

Her stats are:
  • Height: 26 5/8 inches (75% percentile)
  • Weight: 13 lb 6 oz (10-25% percentile)

And for reference, Trip at birth:

And at six months. So happy!

Trip's First Thanksgiving

Last week we all traveled to Houston for Trip's first Thanksgiving. We visited Great Uncle Buddy and his friend Pam. Uncle Michael, Aunt Lorelei, the cousins and Meema all came too!

Of course Trip slept through a lot of it. Here's a picture of how she spent most of her Thanksgiving day:

Tigger and Tilly had a great time playing with their scooters with the cousins.

Tigger even raced with his cousin...

They're off!

 Tigger pulls ahead...

And wins by a scooter length!!

Much of the family watched football or played with their phones

And Trip spent some time with Great Uncle Buddy when she woke up. Now that's a thankful face!
